Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Gulf Garage ("the App"), operated by an individual based in Bahrain. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the App Is
The App is a platform for tracking your vehicles' service history and, optionally, listing them for sale to other users. Gulf Garage is currently offered in Bahrain, and more Gulf countries will be added. We are not a party to any sale, do not inspect vehicles, and do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing.

2. Your Account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to legally enter a contract in Bahrain to create an account.

3. Listings, Content & Conduct
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to:
- List a vehicle you don't own or don't have the right to sell.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
- Post or send anything unlawful, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or otherwise offensive, in listings, photos, profiles or messages.
- Use the App to harass, scam, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to bypass paid features (e.g. garage slot limits) through technical means.
You can report any listing or user from its page, and block any user from their profile. Reports are reviewed by a person, and we remove content and suspend or end accounts that break these rules, as soon as we can. To reach us directly, write to support@gulfgarage.net.

4. Paid Features
Some features (featured listings, extra garage slots, dealer subscriptions, report unlocks) are part of a paid plan, confirmed manually by us after payment. Prices are shown before you request a plan and may change over time. Payments are for the feature described and are generally non-refundable once the feature has been applied to your account, except where required by law.

5. AI Features
Photo recognition and receipt reading use a third-party AI service (Google Gemini), only after you agree and only for the photo you choose. They are provided as a convenience to speed up data entry. You can turn them off at any time in Settings -> AI features. Always review AI-suggested information before saving it - we don't guarantee its accuracy.

6. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not responsible for the condition, legality, or roadworthiness of any vehicle listed by users.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Bahraini law, we are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers, or for losses arising from your use of the App beyond the fees you've paid us in the past 3 months.

8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
